Kawasaki FAZ

Kawasaki FAZ is a tariff-free zone developed in Kawasaki of Kanagawa Prefecture. Customs duty is imposed on imported goods after they are processed within this access zone. Its symbol, that of an origami ship, was designed to communicate a Japanese image to vessels arriving in Kawasaki from overseas.
