当時、AIGとJTBの提携により誕生した保険会社。規制緩和の象徴となる新会社の誕生でした。

Japan International (JI) Accident and Fire Insurance is a joint venture formed between the international insurance agency American International Group (AIG) and the Japan Travel Bureau Foundation (JTB). The stylized logo design uses the abbreviation of the formal company name.

日本国际伤害火灾保险由国际保险机构美国国家集团（AIG）和日本交通公社携手而办的。该设计将较长的公司全称的缩写进行符号化处理，被称为JI。
