"Blazing small airline" was the main concept adopted by a relatively small airline company for gaining attention in the competitive market. This was Sato's first corporate identity design to be selected while at Saul Bass and Associates, which offered highly exciting and extensive experiences.

Pele, who was often referred to as the god of football, held his retirement matches in countries around the world. In Japan, the National Stadium was filled with young, passionate fans dreaming of becoming soccer players themselves someday. It was an era in which sporting events were just beginning to gain popularity.

The world's oldest golf tournament. At a time when symbols for sports events were not commonly used, an opportunity was offered to create a logo for this tournament. The Open Championship tartan check design is registered with the Scottish Tartans World Register.

This is the symbol for adventurer Naomi Uemura's solo expedition to the North Pole, the success of which made him an instant celebrity. While this logo was used mainly for fund-raising purposes, it was also found printed on the flag attached to Uemuraユs dogsled. Although he disappeared on Mt. McKinley in 1984, he has left behind memories of his adventuring spirit as a legacy to the nation.

After completing the work for the Open Championship, an offer was extended to do a logo design for the Wimbledon tennis tournament. The logo made with a motif of the letter W was named the "Flying W."

The Coca-Cola pub mirror was placed in restaurants and pubs to promote customer loyalty. The illustration used is an alteration of that found on old Coca-Cola-related products expressed in an Art Nouveau style.

The company logo was created based on the spacing of typography, which tend to change with the times. Since then, many similar styles have been developed.
